Technology....why must you always be changing? (New Linky Followers Option)



Oh Technology, why must you always change??
(Do you like my computer picture? I thought it was only appropriate to include a computer with tools!)

I know you've seen it around the blogosphere.....the news of Google Friend Connect leaving (for non-blogger blogs), and a new Linky Followers, and Google Plus option filling it's place.

I'm only 33, but I'm still old enough to not be part of the "computer generation".  The last 3 months of blogging and web building have been a serious crash course in web design! I often feel like I'm taking a college class, with google search as my teacher!

Anyways, I have the Linky Followers option up and running on my sidebar! (it was actually really easy to do, thank goodness!)  So, please be-friend me again through Linky Followers, so we can keep exchanging all the information we love to exchange.....DIY tips and ideas!

    I can relate about technology. I just switched from blogger to Wordpress this week so I had a huge crash course in the last five days with Google and Youtube as my teachers. It was exhausting. What sucked the most about my move is the loss of traffic and my followers. I've been blogging for only a month and was SOOO happy with my seventy followers but I've lost most of them.:( Still have my fingers crossed that they'll stop by my new place though. Anywho, I'm now following you again on Linky. :) I just set that up yesterday and it was very easy so that was nice. :)

    thanks for the heads up on the new linky followers, have just added myself, i would hate to not find you in my reader when you share something new so am pleased that i got here before disaster strikes

      Awww, thanks Paola!

      I guess they are keeping Google Friend Connect for blogger blogs (which mine is), but there is a good possibility it could go away in the near future for even blogger blogs, so best to start getting everyone on Linky Followers also. If you enjoy reading any WordPress blogs, make sure to get on their Linky Follower lists. If I read correctly, their Google Friend Connect will be ending in March.
