Happy Manic Monday

Hey everyone,

It's just another manic Monday.
Due to a lot of weekend fun though....I'll take some craziness on Monday, if it's because of a fun weekend!

The only down-side to fun, busy weekends is that my blogging posts can fall behind....so bare with me. I have so many projects that need one more pillow, or that need one more coat of paint before I give them a photo shoot.

This past week our family has had cherry harvest, which means lots of canning, drying and making jam for this week, the kids have had vacation bible school, John has had some finals, and the madness continues....

I know you all know how it goes.

So anyways, here are a few pics from our fun weekend.

Every year, they close down a main road (that is almost right in front of our house) for the Cool Desert Nights Vintage Car Parade. We have an annual party with friends and all watch the parade together. Since we had to be in Spokane (2 hrs away) early the next morning for John's reserve duty family day, we decided to keep it low-key this year.

Here a picture of the boys.
Mud from road construction, and vintage cars throwing candy.....what more could little boys want? OK, maybe bugs, or slimy animals...but really, they had so much fun!

The next morning we had an Army reserves family day. Luckily the weather was awesome.

Then Sunday was church (Life Center in Spokane WA) with John's family and up to Montana for a BIG bike ride.

We biked the Hiawatha Trail!

The Hiawatha Trail is part of the old Milwaukee railroad that has been made into a 13 mile downhill bike trail. It has 11 tunnels and over 9 high trestles.

We went with my John's family and we brought a total of 6 adults and 6 kids.

Yes, those are lime green shorts and a baby carrier from the 1980's. ....that's how I roll.

These are phone photos...but I'm sure you can see how beautiful it was.

We made it back at about 1am this morning.

I hope you are all making fantastic memories this summer. I'll have more projects in the very near future!

    1. Thanks Cristina.
The tunnels were pretty cool. If you're ever on the Northern MT/ID boarder, you'll have to check it out :) Hope your summer is going good!
