I'm really itching to get started on a new place!
When my kids and I moved into our current house, it was five years ago!
Things have changed a bit since then. I still love many things in our house and many of the spaces I have done more recently, but there are so many rooms I painted almost 4 years ago......
and I'm ready for a change!
I saw this home on BH&G and am pretty much in love.......
I'm loving the gold and white. So many fun shapes and details.
This is my favorite picture! I LOVE all the texture, the patterns, and the chic, but fun feel of this room!
Not sure if I'm ready for more green and gold, I have a lot of it in the house -- but maybe peacock blue, orange or yellow and bits of pink? The style, patterns and texture can stay the SAME!
DIY basket light fixture anyone?
I'm sure I'd go NUTS with this much white and 5 home schooled kids, but I do love the way it looks!
I love this fun take on a stairway picture gallery, and I'm pretty sure the stairs are painted. Love that idea!
The brown really warms the space.
So, I'm ready to go paint some rooms white and buy some fun fabric! What styles are you loving lately?

I just love gold right now! Frankly, I think I always have! It's so elegant!
ReplyDeleteYup, I'm all about pairing it with black or white right now! I used to really dislike it....funny how things change :)
DeleteReally fun ideas! That house would be a dream come true but it's so not like houses I find here in CA. I'm pretty bored with our house after eight years so I'm constantly changing things too.
ReplyDeleteThis is a gorgeous home!
ReplyDeleteKatie- I love ALL these fun ideas. The thing they have in common, I think, is that they are all so fresh and clean looking. Love it!!! xo Diana
ReplyDeleteWOW! I'm excited for you! I'm in the same boat as you, tired of this old place... but there is so much to do around here. I'm living vicariously through you and your new adventures! Hope your home sells quickly!
ReplyDeleteI love that house! Beautiful. If I could have any house it would be like that. Love the styles of all the rooms. I especially like the green and white curtains and the wallpaper in that room. Everything feels pretty and fresh! Repainting changes everything! I am ready for that too!
ReplyDeleteThis is a gorgeous house - how did they even get the dog to pose perfectly?!

OMG...I LOVE this house as well! :)
ReplyDeleteLots of great details in this house - I'm not such a sucker for green, though =) xo Anja
ReplyDeleteI don't blame you for loving this house - it's gorgeous! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI'm totally digging on teal right now, with all of the great coordinating color possibilities! Add some green, orange, yellow, pink - endless possibilities! I'm digging the graphic prints in those draperies too!
ReplyDeleteNice inspiration. You can tell a lot of thought went into the design.
ReplyDeleteI can totally see why you have fallen in love! Just beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI love the stairs and think they are probably painted too. At the moment mine are painted plain white but my husband and I have have been dithering over doing a stripe like that for about 2 years! Maybe one day I'll pluck up the courage.
ReplyDeleteGreat house BUT we are moving right now and have despised having to deal with so many LEAVES every year, living here in the woods. That first picture reminded me:):) The rooms are gorgeous and such fun! XO, Pinky
ReplyDeleteIt's gorgeous! Have you see the green that is used in Dimples and Tangles blog decor. It's beautiful as well. Good luck w/the move.
ReplyDeleteTami @ Curb Alert!
I love everything in this house!! Wow! It's perfect, maybe that's the problem! Then you don't have too much to do to it! :)
ReplyDeleteFun to look at other homes...this is a beauty!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!

ReplyDeleteI love the exterior, but the inside could be a lot cozier to make me want to move in.
ReplyDeleteVery crisp and clean and fun.
ReplyDeleteI dont know how you can contain yourself, the house is lovely
ReplyDeleteExterior is lovely but the interior, well, it tells me you probably didn't live through the 70's the first time. ;)
ReplyDeleteThese are great! I love how majority of the rooms are clean neutrals but there are still tons of colors incorporated into it!
