New bathroom artwork

So, as usual, I was too cheap to purchase art for the bathroom, (which we are close to being done remodeling), therefore I made some of my own. I think it turned out pretty decent. Right colors and pretty modern. Totall cost (not including the paint that I already had. $4.50!

I loved the frames on these. It's hard to see the detail in the picture. They originally were paintings of old farms, well, copies of paintings, not actual paintings. I laquered the frames gloss black and made an arrangment of brown and black circles.
Here's the larger one. The frame and original picture came from the Goodwill. The original picture was of the last supper, and let me tell ya, I felt pretty weird painting over Jesus, but now it's a usable piece of art. The original was wired colors and I don't think anyone would have wanted it. Reminds me of bubbles, which is quite fitting for the bathroom :)

  1. How did you make the "bubbles"? Coffee mug? I'm excited to see more of your handiwork!
