Once again (you can see other paper "faux-vinyl" lettering in a couple posts down).
I used paper, because it's fast, easy, and let's face it, basically FREE! I just printed it out in Word (I think I changed the font size to 200)
Now cutting out there letters did require a couple no-brainer movies to cut to. Here are the cut letters, as I layed them out on the table...ignore the black paint spots that are from another project.
*Tip...If you try this, you can cut through letters (round letters work well to cut through) to make the cutting easier, because when you glue them up, no one will know!
Final picture. I think it turned out great, and I will be glad to have that reminder everyday!
Awesome! Now this is just what I needed!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness you went to alot of work! Great outcome! You have far more patience than I! :)

I like this idea! When you take it down, how do you clean the glue stick from the wall?
ReplyDeleteThis turned out beautifully. I admire your patience to get it all cut out.
ReplyDeleteWell done and it looks great! I appreciate your patience with cutting the words out, I made freezer paper stenciled sweatshirts for Christmas gifts this year, so time consuming but worth it.
ReplyDeleteThat's crazy creative! and beautiful!!! I've got a similar place in my stairwell (only - waaayyy smaller) that this idea would be perfect for! Mind if I steal ?! :D
ReplyDeleteOkay, another thing of yours that I want! I have been trying to figure out what to do about our steps...similar to yours...but I was worried about people slipping while walking down the steps. I think I know what I'm going to do now! Thanks for the show and I love those letters...lots of work but I'm positive I can do it. :o)
ReplyDeleteI'm going to have to add you to my blog because you rock!
Brilliant!
