4th Project in the Room Re-do...the Gallery Wall!

The 4th Project in the Room Re-do......the Gallery Wall

Lucky for me, my sister already had a collection of frames that needed some repurposing!

A little paint, and some white cream paper (for the frames that didn't have matting) and some white and black pictures downloaded to Costco photo dept, and we have a gallery wall for this space in the room re-do!

* helpful hint:  I don't actually mat pictures for gallery walls. I use a large mat of creme posterboard cut to the size of the frame opening, and double sided tape or glue stick. Measure so the picture is in the middle and stick it on!
So much faster and cheaper than actually matting. I used to use nice matting for gallery walls, and do all my own cutting with a mat cutter, but unless people very carefully inspect the pictures, no one will ever no the difference.

I love gallery walls, they add such personal sentiment to a space!

  1. I really thought the room you were redoing was your own until I saw the big picture of Carinn and Brady. I thought, wow, she must REALLY like Carinn a lot! (I'm sure you do, but it makes more sense now that this is Carinn's house.)
    Great gallery! I love it!

Yup, I re-did her bedroom for Christmas. I have told her I would re-do it forever! I love how it turned out! Thanks for stopping by!

  4. Stopping by from the Take a Look Tuesday link up. I have TONS of frames I've collected in order to do a collage/gallery wall, but I'm soo nervous! We just bought a brand new house and all of our walls are perfect. I'm afraid to mess them up. Yours looks great! I love the black and white!
