Word of the Year: SERVE

My word of the year is:

1 Peter 4:10-11
“Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms.

Most of us who enjoy these sorts of blog have a gift. A passion to create and make things better than they were before, but in the end if we aren't using it to serve others, it's can become a sort of vain quest.  So my word (goal) this year is to serve others with my talents.

I'll be linking this up on The Letter Cottage's Word of the Year link-up.

  1. I love that idea and what a great word you chose! I've been decorating with "early garage sale" all my life and I don't think I would even be comfortable with anything "new" after all these years! LOL! If you visit my blog you'll see lots of my "junk" much of which STILL needs to be refurbished! I'll be back to see what you're up to in the future! Thanks for your blog...I love it!

  2. I'm definetly going to have to come by! I know what you mean. I've always bought from yard sales or Goodwill and it's just more fun to me...what can I say! Thrill of the hunt maybe??
