One of the Quickest Ways to Make Your Yard Beautiful! Dig, Drop, Done!

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Bulbs. Dig, Drop, Done. for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

You've probably heard me whine, I mean, talk about my yard that is the size of a park! I love it, but it's just so much work to make it look good! Although this time of year, when the flowers start coming out to smile and show-off at everyone, I look out and love it! And do you know what the best part is? I didn't have to do ANYTHING for it yet this year!

The owners before us (and I added a few too), had planted plenty of bulbs that are blossoming beauties without me even working outside yet.  No weeding, no water, no planting (well this year anyway), they just pop up and are beautiful, showing us all that spring has arrived!

Can you believe that planting bulbs is become a less practiced form of gardening!? Because of this, a committed group of companies have banded together to start a campaign to educated the public about how easy and beautiful planting bulbs can be! It's called Dig, Drop, Done, and you can visit www.digdropdone.com to learn more!

At the Dig, Drop, Done website, they have three ladies, who you can get acquainted with. I think I understand Marcy the best, since she is a busy mom, who barely has the time to garden.

If you visit www.digdropdone.com to learn more, you can find information about all kinds of bulbs and questions you would have about them. They even have a project gallery you can gather ideas from. Some of my favorites were ideas about how bulbs aren't just for the outdoors, but are used for decor and gifts as well. How fun is this image?

I also saw this picture and thought about planting bulbs in my flower boxes. It would be so great to have flowers popping out of them right now ... without even working outside yet!

I can't forgot to mention the Curbside Chaos contest!  Enter a picture of your yard to win a $5,000 yard makeover!  Tanyia Nayak will even be stopping by with ideas!  All you have to do is submit a picture to Curbside Chaos!

This contest ends on April 15th. So go and enter NOW!!!

If you visit the Curbside Chaos website, they have a Garden Guru at the bottom. You can enter your location, and when you want your bulbs to come up and it will tell you what bulbs you should plant! This is awesome!!!

Here is a screen shot of what I should plant if I want bulbs to come up in March where I live.

For every share on Twitter, "Bulbs, Dig, Drop, Done", will donate $1 to Rebuilding Together. A non-profit organization working to preserve affordable homeownership and revitalize communities!

Hope you enjoy the Dig, Drop, Done site as much as I have! I'm going to be planting more bulbs this year for sure!

  1. You are right that bulbs are easy. Still, I often forget to plant them. I need to remedy that this week.
