Well, I'm going to detour from the shelf posts to show you the Spring Banner the kids and I made today. It was really simple and I like how it turned out.
We started with these awesome Dollar Store egg doilies (FYI, they had cute, yellow tulip doilies too).
Then I printed and cut out letters spelling SPRING, and glued them on.
Next we took some scraps of fabric (love when I can use some scraps!) and cut them into strips.
Here are the kids cutting their favorites.
We taped and tied it all on some twine and wallah!...We had ourselves a Spring Banner! ....AND...It basically cost me 1$!
This is obviously on the opposite wall from my Gallery Wall, which is showing in the mirror.
I'm off to put some finishing touches on the Spring Mantel! Can't wait to show you all!
