A Little Bit About Me, and my Switch to Word Press.

Hi everyone,

My Mom, Chloe and I spent a few days at my sister Holly's last week. We all had a great time and I'll be posting all the fun nursery projects over the next couple weeks!

This week is off to a crazy start! The fall is always a little manic around here. I have two kids with sports practices 3 nights/week, both have weekend games. Then I home school the older three. Their yearly lesson plans are all due this week. We have two house showings, so it's cleaning, cleaning, cleaning around here
and.....
I'm making the switch to Word Press.

So....
I always still see blogs that switch to WP in my Good Reader, but I know it has been a problem in the past for some, so follow me in another way. Through Facebook, Twitter, Bloglovin, Linky (located on the right sidebar), Hometalk, G+ or Subscribe, just in case the switch abolishes our Good Friend Connection.

I'm really hoping I don't loose any of you!

Why the switch?
As you have probably noticed, I have what I call "commercials" (advertisements).  I feel fortunate to work with a few media agencies who pay me to write about their products, or who use my sidebar for their advertisements. However, some media agencies are pickier than others it boils down to Word Press enabling me to work with all of them easier.  There are many other professional benefits to moving to Word Press....it's something I've been procrastinating for a long time!

Another thing you might have seen this week is everyone has switched to truncated feeds. I will also be using truncated feed after my switch, so if you view me in a reader, you will have to actually click on my blog and go to it to read it (or so I understand). Besides that, everything should look pretty much the same.

A huge thanks to all of you Creatively Living readers! I am so thankful for all of you!
Have a great week!

    1. haha! No way! I'm no techy. I'm having Kristi from Addicted 2 Decorating move me.
At the speed I go with technological things, I would be switching my blog for months. lol

Hope all is well at your side of the state!

  5. How did you get your linky button and pictures to show up? Where in WP did you add it? I can't get mine to add properly!

    1. This is a good question! I haven't switched yet, so you're still seeing my Blogger blog. I'll let you know if I figure that out though! I'm hoping all of it won't be too difficult, but I know there will most likely be hiccups.

  7. Good luck with using Wordpress - I know you'll love it - I do. I started my blog on Wordpress so it's the only thing I know. I lost my GFC, but I see you still have it. Lucky you. Any questions I'll be happy to help!

    1. Thanks Cathy! I don't think I'll be able to have my GFC on my sidebar. I haven't switched yet, so you're still viewing my blogger blog.
Hopefully I'll be able to figure out how to use WP! LOL

      Hope you are doing well!
