My new peg board jewelry orgnaization system.....yes, it may not be the most beautiful thing, but I think it just works so well!
I've tried all kinds of jewelry organization systems. I think my favorite was having hooks on the inside of the cupboard (I know, pretty ugly!). It was out of the way, there was little tangling, you could see it all and you could add more hooks if needed. Only problem was that sometimes the hooks would fall off! 
I love the framed jewelry projects that are so popular right now. I actually have one in my bedroom for more of a decoration than anything.
But...if you're a cheap jewelry addict like me, putting ALL of your jewerly on one of these cute frames, may make it not so.....cute.
So, I bought some pegboard. Here's a pic of the pegboard in the painting process (Lowes sells these smaller pieces). Then I cut it to size....just big enough to fit in the inside of my bathroom cupboard doors. I also had to put a thin piece of wood behind the pegboard at the top and bottom so the metal hooks would fit in the pegboard.
Here's the finished product. Maybe not the most beautiful jewelry system in the world, but I love how it organizes. I can keep buying metal hooks and rearranging as needed! Now to make one to hang my earrings on!

Katie, I am in love with your decorating! :) Consider me another follower, friend. :) You are quite inspiring, and I agree that we need to have Bible Study at your place once or we'll just all barge in and surprise you so we can see all your beautiful décor!
