If you've been to my house in the past couple years, this dinning room won't look much different to you, but I can now say that I'm totally done! Mostly quarter round and touch-ups were keep me from being completely finished.
If you don't know my story, I sold just about everything I owned in Hawaii before moving here to avoid shipping costs (I'm obviously not very sentimental).
So the run down:
chairs, table and back table all off craigslist. The little table in the back was only $10 and just needed a drawer fixed. I kept the original curtains and pull shade and added a little brown material and recovered the shade to dress it up a little. The runner is an old one from IKEA, and the other bits and pieces are all from the Goodwill or garage sales. The back picture was a canvas from the GW that I painted on, and the little lamp I made out of a jug. I light fixture was about $35 on clearance and I think the jute rug was the only thing I actually purchased normally (at IKEA). The chevron pillows I just made the other day......because I needed a little chevron somewhere!
Oh, I like how I can still see a couple hand prints in this one and some color crayon....just keepin' it real, right?!
I think I better start posting all my completed rooms before I start decorating for Christmas!
