I hope yours has been a great one.
I posted my thoughts on Memorial Day last night and included this picture of my husband returning home from an Iraq deployment in '09.
This holiday has a special place in my heart.

8.) I love this antiqued dresser by Thrifty Inspirations. Beautiful!

8.)  This summer mantel from Life on Walnut Street is fantastic! She made it by cleverly using pieces she already had. 

9.) Vixen Made should be a professional party planner! Look at her latest: A Girly Bling Themed party!

10.)  Aprons and Ambition restored an old rocker. It turned out beautifully! She gives a great tutorial. I actually learned quite a bit about upholstery.

11.) Check out this lamp makeover by Remodelando la Casa! You have to see the before!

12.)  Imperfect Patina remade this fabulous Lake Minnetonka inspired dresser!

13.)  The Humble Nest of Mrs. V remade some art she already had. Wow! What an improvement and what a beautiful mantel!

14.)  Love and Laundry gets my award for the coolest teacher's gift!

15.)  Homespun with Love shared her Cold Bean Salad in a Jar recipe. How cute is this? Perfect for a picnic!
