This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Quaker Oats for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
Sometimes there are perks to blogging, and the other day was one of those. Social Spark asked me to review the new Quaker Soft Baked Bar, and sent some to my house.
I really mean it when I say these bars are good! They not only taste really good, but they are a wholesome food with 5 grams of fiber, 6 grams of protein, an excellent source of 5 B-vitamins and they only have 140 calories!
These bars contain real fruit and nuts and can be eaten on-the-go, or warmed in the microwave.
I'm always looking for the perfect breakfast snack, or somthing to carry in my purse in case I'm starving, and this would be it. The other challenge I face is that my stomach can only tolerate a very small amount of wheat. These don't say gluten free on them, but they don't have any wheat listed in the ingredients! Needless to say, I was pretty stoked!
There are two great flavors; Cinnamon Pecan Bread, and Banana Nut Bread. I figured we should assemble a little taste testing team to find which one was best.
Yup, that is one excited 6 yr old!
The total was:
Cinnamon Pecan Bread 4 (all the kids)
Banana Nut Bread 2 (both adults)
Really though, they were both exceptionally good!
I'm excited to find this on the grocery store shelf.
So if you like a good breakfast or snack bar, I'm suggesting you try these out!
They are going to be on our "quick breakfast" list for sure!
