The cracked "G"

Bought this letter G at Hob Lob while we were cross country in SC this summer. 50% off....of course! I just loved it though.
Unfortuantly, the hubby was not so careful while arranging it (and my other increadible finds) amongst the suitcases in the back of the van, which resulted in a break (you can see it at the top). I had finally pulled this G out and decided to try to glue it back together for our stairway that I'm currently working on, when my 20mo old grabbed it off the counter and threw it on the floor! This resulted in another break and a big hole!

So, I glued it together again with Gorilla Glue, filled the crack with some drywall mud that I had out already that day, and filled the hole too. I decided I'd better sand the putty down and paint the thing, before it had other accidents. I then sprayed it with some metalic silver spary paint I had around and framed it with a frame I'd just painted black.

Fewf. I'm glad it turned out so well :)
